HThank you very much for your interest in a cooperation for the joint implementation of projects for refugee families from African countries who live in temporary residences.

Most of the people who get involved with go1school Bremen have a migration background themselves. They know from their own experience the difficulties refugees go through after arriving in a temporary residence.
It starts with communication difficulties and continues with fears and excessive demands, for example when dealing with forms and authorities, isolation and frustration.
These people were helped by being part of a community, in particular being part of a non-profit association that works with non-denominational volunteers for refugees.
It is a suitable door opener to get refugees out of their isolation. Through the recognition and esteem in the community they regain their dignity, which has often been lost on the way to escape.

Little by little you will gain more skills and self-confidence. They experience understanding and support, make friends and feel valuable by doing voluntary work themselves and making a meaningful contribution to the society in which they want to integrate with their work.

We look forward to getting to know you in person and discussing ways of working together. In the following, we present various cooperation ideas that can serve as a basis for discussions
